Here at Butchers we pride ourselves on our food. We use only the finest Cornish produce in our Menu's supplied by the best Cornwall has to offer from livestock to our seafood. Sample our distinctive local wines direct from the Camel Valley Vineyard and enjoy our Fresh Home-Baked Breads.
The Butchers Bistro opened its doors in March 2005 to fulfil a passion for food and cooking that the owners Chris and Mel have. Chris born in Lanner near Redruth, Cornwall grew up learning the importance of fresh food.
At the age of five Chris helped his parents grow vegetables, hunt for rabbits and day to day cooking. At the age of eight, Chris had his first job as a butcher and in 1999 after years of working with reputable local suppliers he opened his own business, CG Meats delivering to local hotels and guest houses and now to his own restaurant.
Our philosophy is simple – fine fresh food, using local suppliers in a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere.
